Kia ora, I'm Marika.
My journey as a specialised mental health nurse began in the UK and led me to make New Zealand my home in 2008.
For 17 years, I have had the privilege of working at every level of the mental health system, supporting people through some of their most challenging times. My passion lies in helping each person work through their difficulties to reach their full potential. For the past 3.5 years, I have worked within the primary mental health space, supporting people with a wide array of difficulties in reaching their potential.

When I'm not in a session, you can find me pounding the pavement on a run or at the gym—finding my own way to stay grounded.
I believe time is the most precious commodity we can give to one another. I deeply value the time I spend with my nearest and dearest, including my husband, cats, friends, and family.
